Because every overlooked soul deserves to be loved, comforted, and have a safe place to live out their golden years, Legacy Paws Rescue exists to provide a safe haven for senior dogs who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned. We provide medical care, rehabilitation, and a loving place to heal, rest, and restore their trust in human companionship.

Something To Bark About
We’re turning five peaceful acres into something special—something built with love, vision, and community hands.
Rainbow Bridge Island: On Rainbow Bridge Island, you can hang collars, tags, photos, toys, or handwritten notes on trees and memorial posts to honor the dogs they’ve loved and lost. Each memento becomes part of a peaceful space where love and memories are kept forever.
The Sanctuary: A quiet space for reflection, grief support, and emotional healing.
Take a peaceful walk along our creekside trails, sit and reflect to the gentle sound of wind chimes in the trees — no adoption pressure, just calm. Spend time healing on your own, or share the experience with one or two of our rescue dogs as companions on your journey.
Haunted Trail Fundraiser: Something spooky is brewing! Our Haunted Flashlight Trail fundraiser for humans and dogs is in the works, and we need volunteers and eerie decorations to make it amazing. Get involved!
The Sensory Garden: We’re seeking volunteers to help make this space a reality. Located across the creek, the garden will be thoughtfully designed to stimulate all five senses for dogs and their humans. Take a walk and experience it together.
